The CR500 is an acquired taste. If you don't like it, acquire some taste...

Thanks guys. Took it out saturday for the first ride, short ride but worked awesome. The radiators i bought off ebay, I believe it was a company out of washington. Had to alter all the outlets as well as the bottom tank on the left rad for the pipe. Then with them being oversize they rubbed on the oversize gas tank, had to reform that a little as well.

Nice build rjt. I am amazed at the differences in frame clearance between your 450 and my 250F. Specifically the cross member down in the footbox area. I literally had to lift engine out of mounts to get enough clearance to install bolt in shifter. And I used the newer CR 250 shifter to boot!!

I am guessing the 450 is a bit wider across at the footpeg.

Thanks :D There seems to be a bit more room with the 450 frame, even comparing it to my 03 cr250 conversion, it looks like it was shoehorned in compared to the 450.

Thanks, lug nut. The plastics and graphics I bought off ebay, pretty hard to find as One Industries does not make the kit anymore .

The motor angle just worked out to be what it is. It actually mimics the same angle as my 03 cr250 build, that frame you are able to bolt into the stock cr250 bottom engine mounts.
