its really sad how until the 2000s the automotive stuff looked like it had since the 1920s where in the 40s there were piston engines in the aviation world as good or better than the 60 year newer automotive stuff.

Being and aviation mechanic I was surprised oh how much further aviation is advanced over cars, bikes, etc...
Anti-lock brakes were designed in the late 1920's by an engineer that designed auto AND aircraft stuff. They started being used on aircraft in the 30's but there were still plenty of cars in the 80's without them.
Turbo's have been common in aviation and ships before auto's also...

my truck has them eliminated and a proportioning valve installed. I live on the gravel so theres alot of rear steer needed
. I bet the steering box hasnt been to the end of the travel in years.

I know racers don't run a second ring but don't 2 rings help make the piston last longer for your average weekend rider?
