Post by JOKER529 »

Just want to say hi. My name is John living in Virginia, 46 yrs old. Bought a 1990 500 and have rode it 3 times so far. Now want to do a 125 conversion.

Whatever you do don't turn that 500 into a 125, you might actually get kicked off the site for that sort of thing :D

Welcome!!

Welcome. I am just finishing up my 125 conversion. Do it if you just gotta have it. Otherwise, stick to a gen 3 250, IMO

Welcome, I bought my 500 from a guy in SW Virginia.
What part of VA are you in?
I'm in Mount Airy NC (Mayberry), just south of the VA state line near I-77.
There's a few of us on this side of the great divide.

Welcome!

And X2 on the 250 conversion - much easier.
The CR500 is an acquired taste. If you don't like it, acquire some taste...
