2000 motor feeler

Post by Flatbiller »

I got a 2000 cr500 motor sitting in my garage, the plan was to put it into my 97 roller but idk. What's a motor worth? Is it worth selling just the motor or should I get the whole bike back up and running and sell a complete bike?

Here is some reference pricing..

I bought a complete 91 engine on the stock bore with intake, carb, ignition for $750. Buddy bought a complete bike 2000 CR500 for $1600 so I guess it depends what its worth to you.

Well I'm glad I didnt post the price I was going to post it for $500.
My problem is I already have an AF build going on, and as history repeats it self I started another bike, I was thinking of selling the steely for money to finish my AF.
