When I first went to Glamis I knew a guy that had an old water pumper rail like that where the bench seat was over the rear end.
Then I remember my first few trip s to Pismo in early 80's, could ride all the way to the south end while roosting the dead seals along the way and do the hill climb there then go back to the fresh water lakes. Yes there are fresh water lakes back there maybe a mile or two passed the fenced area.
