N2O is usually injected well upstream of the cylinder to maximize the cooling effect on the rest of the intake charge.

In a two stroke, you have two things to consider...

1. The intake tract is so short, your not going to have much time to cool the remaining charge.

2. Due to the reeds, the intake tract has the oppertunity to be thought of as a "closed" system. If you inject enough N2O into the crankcase, the reeds may only slightly open.. if at all.

I have never known this to attempted..... Hell... I might even buy a little YZ80 or something similar to try it out!

If you inject directly into the crank it wont have any vaccume to pull fuel from the carb.

Remember Brit, Nitrous is an oxidizer, if theres nothing to oxidize, nothing happens...

But if the fuel enrichement fails and the motor begins drawing fuel/air through the carb then... BIG BADDABOOM!!

Could you imagine the BANG from and 500 case FILLED with N2O?? WOW!!

Yea you have a point, its gonna be different to a wet setup that also utilizes the vehicles injectors and just uses the wet nozzle to give extra fuel.
