RK Tech Head

Post by DieHard2Smoke »

was on their site for a snowmobile head, and i see that they make custom heads for cr5. but didnt say anything else. i sent them an email about if their head would fit on my '85. they said if it was the same as the '90 or newer that id be fine.

so my questions to you guys are, does anyone here have any experience with RK tech's head? i have heard a lot of good things about their snowmobile heads

and is the head the same from '85 to '90?

never tried one. got the pro design instead. rk looks like a fine product though. might call and ask 2 questions: does it only use straight plug or is there angled version and do you have to install your own water spigots. these issues wouldnt deter me but its something to think about. if you foul alot of plugs it might be a pain to get plug out on steely bikes

Kelsey from RK Tech is a pretty sharp guy, got to know him probaly atleast 10 years ago on MacDizzy when that was a great site.

I know he use to own cr500's but have not used or really know anything about his head.

I am sure he will not do you wrong

Is the head smart enough to sense any detonation (before it happens) and automatically lower the compression ratio to compensate for it??
