I never tried one of these on a 500, but used them on CR250's through the late 80's and early 90's, and I remember them making a noticable difference to the way the CR picked up out of corners, sort of cleaner and stronger feeling. I actually still have one of the old 250 Roost Boosts in the shed. . . . can I use it on the 500, and is it worth it ? . . . . also, I have a Service Honda ignition/lighting system on the way (hopefully), and I suspect this might be digital. Would the Roost Boost offer any advantage on the digital, or are they only any use on analogue ignitions ? Any input welcomed.
