01' 500 ???

What is a great deal on a low hour, 01" 500? I have a lead on one and was curious what it should bring. Thanks!

Yea, that would be a great deal. I helped my buddy get a extremly low use 01 recently for 2800, and that was a good deal. But a great deal is definetly what Bob said or close to that.

I was thinking a good deal would be 2500 and a great deal around 2-2200.

The more I look around, the Gen 3 or 4 conversion looks better and better.

I forgot that I had a buddy that is a chopper builder that could weld up the Y section. Hmmmmmmm.

So if you bought a good used 500 engine with carb, harness, etc and a Gen 3 250, could you get it together for under 4k?

1000 or so for the engine..
2000 or so for the bike..
