Yet another new bike

Post by Tharrell »

It's a Honda, not quite a 500.
Bought this yesterday to make a street tracker.
Was gonna do a 650 Yamaha but I've always loved the look of the 450 Honda.
Here's a pic and 2 pics of the direction I want to go.

That sounds promising.
I have extra forks, swingarm and other stuff myself.
I'll have to do some thinking on that.

If you're interested in feedback, I dig the last picture much better than the Evel Knieval looking bike.

What kind of tire is that on the back?
Did you fab the rear end?
We've got a 650 Yamaha with a prefabbed rear end, just got the springer for it last week.

Yea as feedback goes I'm digging the second bike too. I'm a Harley riding fag also and I have been wanting to build a bike like that out of a 1200 sporty motor, I think it would be fun to rip fireroads to work on in the summer. Like an old xr750 for less cash. I have a bunch of HS buddies who race flat track, one used to have a high national ranking but is now a raving alcoholic, he wants to sell me a frame...might have to do it.

Picked it up yesterday.
It's nicer than I anticipated and it's all there.
