the rubber connector that goes between your pipe and silencer ?? whats it called and do they make aftermarket ones or do i have to buy OEM ?? i need one for my cr5. only place that isnt sealed up on the pipe...

I call it black RTV. The OEM grommet will set you back $18 and not seal as well.

let me tell you a secret but dont say nothin to anybody. gotta think outside the box sometimes. oem unit works fine. the grooves in it, put couple zip ties there . small chunk of car radiator hose, works just the same. hell i had a old shock bladder and cut a piece of that before, worked just the same. rtv in conjucntion is icing on the cake. dont over think it

does it hurt power not to run em? They used to come with a complete motor gasket kit. I got a few extra.

No , its after the critical section on the pipe.

Exhaust flange leaks are another story...

That's what I though. I just jet it right and not mess with the sucker, It's a pain if you are pulling the subframe as often as I do.

If you are running drooling rich not having it will make quite a mess unless you do some "affro engineering"

I have an after-market pipe and silencer on my vintage bike and the gap is covered by a simple piece of straight radiator hose and two clamps bought from NAPA downtown San Clemente.
