1991 cr500

Did not know where to post this question. I found a 91 that is in bad shape many issues (chain sprockets, plastic has been painted tires wore out, no brakes. The engine is weak but does run. The guy wanted 700 I told him I might do 500, really all I want is the engine. So what do you guys think.

A core engine is about $500 so if you can get the hole thing for that and part it out you'll get some cash back. Then you won't be looking to bad!!!
