SCOTLAND -Shed Clear Out - LOts of EVO Spares

Post by madmcnish »

Hello everyone,
I'm clearing-out a whole load of '87 / '88 / '89 spares from my shed.
I collected these parts with the intention of rebuilding them into complete bikes, but I've not got the time or the workshop facilities to do so, so I'm putting the lot up for sale.
There's around £3000 worth if the parts are sold individually, but I'd sell the lot for £1500 if someone wants the lot.
The list is as follows:
Running engine complete with carb & electrics (Engine Number 5701662 which is an '88, but it's got a later cylinder barrel and water pump fitted for some reason) - Approx £600
Complete '85 Engine including carb & electrics (Broken-Down into parts at present ready for re-building - Engine Number 5403527) - Approx £400
Parts Engine including carb & electrics (Engine Number 5802442 which is an '89, engine case is damaged at countershaft sprocket but is repairable, waterpump casing corroded but maybe repairable, piston missing & outer clutch basket missing but the rest appears to be there) - Approx £300
Newly powdercoated / painted '87/'88 Frame & Subframe - Approx £150
Badly painted '87/'88 Frame & Subframe - needs stripping & repainting - Approx £100
'88 forks, clamps & yolk -Approx £100
2 pairs of '89 forks, clamps & yolks -Approx £75 / pair
2No. '87/'88 swingarms, including shock linkage and chain guide- Approx £75 each
2No. '87/'88 Shocks - Approx. £50 each
Spare set of '87/'88 wheels including tyres, disks and sprocket - Approx £100
Front wheel including disk -Approx £30
Standard seat - Approx £30
Low seat (could do with re-covering) - Approx £15
2No. '87/'88 expansion chambers (good, used condition with a few dings) - Approx. £50 each
'86 silencer (fits '85 to '88 I think) - Approx £30
'89 silencer (fits '89 to '01 I think) - Approx £30
'87 / '88 tank in good condition with cap, petcock and radiator shrouds - Approx £40
'87 /'88 tank with cap, petcock and radiator shrouds (has been (BADLY) painted black by previous owner - paint will need to be stripped as it is blistering and the radiator shrouds are damaged but repairable) - Approx £20
2 pairs of handlebars - Approx £10 / pair
2No. throttle assemblies (twistgrip & cable) - Approx £10 each
2No. front brake assemblies (caliper, hose & master cylinder) - Approx £25 each
2No. rear brake assemblies (caliper, hose & master cylinder) - Approx £25 each
Pair of radiators in good condition - Approx £80
Pair of radiators (1 requires a liitle welding at bottom to repair leak but otherwise straight) - Approx £40
3No. '85/'86 style kickstart levers - Approx £20 each
'89 shock - Approx £50
2No. front mudguards - Approx £10 each
3No. front number boards - Approx £5 each
3 pairs sets of side panels - Approx £10/pair
1 rear mudguard -Approx.£10
'87/'88 airbox in decent condition (small hole melted in side by exhaust - easy repair) - Approx £30
'87/'88 airbox in reasonable condition (Has had fibreglass repair, but still looks and works OK) - Approx £15

As you can see, there's almost enough parts to build 2 complete bikes - an excellent winter project, especially if you want to go EVO racing.
I'm going to try and take photos of everything at the weekend in the daylight.
PM me if interested or give me a call on 07752528966.
Cheers,
Ross

PS - Not sure about posting stuff overseas - I'm located in East Ayrshire , Scotland.

All parts provisionally sold as a job-lot.
Will re-advertise if deal falls-through.
Cheers,
Ross
