If I had the disposible income, I would buy a CR and KX from SH, but I live payday to payday; so I have just choose to build my own.
I
have disposal income, and I wouldnt buy one, unless S/H gets its act together.
Building it yourself is the way to go.

Just so you guys know, that bike never made its way to completion in that state.Randy bowed to the error of his ways and had AJ do the conversion.
I just think all the Randy bashing is getting a bit old and for what its worth from me just a little un-called for. I realize there has been a couple of deals made between him and some of the members that havent turned out as satisfactory as they should have and I believe in the end,the issues between everyone have been resolved.I have had numerous dealings with Randy over the past year and the guy has gone way above and beyond the call of duty for me and I' m sure for other guys too.You just dont here about the good stuff now do you?
Sorry for the rant but I've just had enough of all the bashing already coming from guys that have never even met him.

Not that it matters to me, but I feel better knowing it was never ridden, or allowed to fall into some unsuspecting hands. At least it was reworked correctly.
Go that way real fast, and if something gets in your way...............
Turn.

Mike, point taken...but,
I feel it was important for members to see the work of someone who said, in effect, that "Its too hard for everyday Hoons to do in their own garage".
As far as bashing, the photo's speak for themselves...
Randy always has had the oppertunity to come here and discuss things..

AJ seems to be taking a walk down "Memory Lane" on our site.... care to comment on this thread?
My quote here repeats what I have said all along....

mine was hard but I didn't have a roller and used ebay parts, and the motor was rebuilt from scratch.
It was a bitch!
