AlisoBob's Gen 4 A/F Conversion
Well ,here she is .... all ready for welding tomorrow. Maybe I will make it to Glamis with her?
Motor fits the cradle very well. Any gaps you see are probably " Sharpie" marks.. There are no "Butt Welds" anywhere. The tubing either is fitted into a socket and indexs together about 1/2", or has a 3" piece of 3/4 solid bar inside, and will be plug welded.
Pipe hugs the "Y" nicely, and the radiators fit with no issues.
The lower tabs are 1/4" 6061 T6... look across the frame and you can see one of the lower plug weld holes.
Close up of the "Y". Lots of room for the coolant crossover hose, exhaust springs, and everything else.
I'll post some more when the real motor is in, and the accessories are getting hooked up!

Rads fit well
Chain alignment is off, motor needs to move left. This is with Gen 3 250 spacers in there.
Lookin Good! It will absoulutly be there Terrence, providing the tank and airboot dont take too long to fab. Judging from Danny Graves photo's, this air boot is going to seal perfect, or the bike isnt coming out to play in the sandbox.
Looks sweet Bob, Now get er done!!!

I got a few pm's wanting a better photo.... here's a "sneek peek"... The motors in, you wont believe how OEM it looks....
No misaligned billet pieces..
No " The bigger the glob, the better the job welds..."
No " Rhacks" quality work...
ANYBODY can reproduce this with a sawsall, a die grinder, and some good ol' fashion Hoon attitude! No bending or trick machinery needed...
I'll post some more when its 90 % assembled.
Looks good Bob......
