have been using bimotion now and the reson i have asked if you had actually used it is because it is not that great at all,the head programe is merely trail and error based on thereoy and caculation, the port and pipe program is very basic and limited to what it can advance.so id be hard pressed to be be convinced that bimotion is actually that good, its ok but i would not recomend it. if you ant any more definative info just ask.

its the same as any software, desktop dyno is a crock, but if you know something about how the physical parts should work you can get it within 5-8hp

its not actually a desk top dyno,it does have some benifits such as time area calculation and port flow comparison etc,the thing is to many people say do this do that take this out and put this in,the programe and calculations actually make myth or fact of this, but it is the actual physical eqausion you need to determine comparison, however the problem is finding the dimension that the programe needs to determine its calculation, hence it is and could be any parameter...

exactly what i was getting at.
we could print binders of slide rules and charts for everything to do with on the engine, port flows, guide length and diamiter flows, valve jobs, ring end gap+tension, port dimensions, the pistons valve velief area or dome, it all can be calculated in a day, OR we can get close by knowing what we need to enter into somehting like desktop dyno
knowing where you want to go is absolutely relevant, starting into it and jabbing numbers into the fields and expecting it to solve things for you will not happen
