2005 CRF450x Conversion Motovated Seller $4200

Post by n36 »

I have decided to get rid of my 2005 CrfX conversion and try to get a bike better suited for tight technical single track. I would like to sell it or trade for the right offraod bike. This is a nice bike and runs very well, it just does not handle the tight technical sections like I hoped. Below is the build link, the things you may not be able to tell from the link is that it has a flywheel weight, vforce reeds, and cylinder and head work from Tom Morgan Racing. I would sell it outright for about $5000 or consider trading for a nice late model woods bike preferably a 2-stroke KTM.
Forgot to mention it also has a recently installed hydraulic clutch.

I purchased another bike so trades are not needed. Wife says the 500 must go. Any reasonable offers?

Thanks Trey

Yes the wife, The bike did not handle the tight trails like I wanted it to, and since I bought a KTM 300 xc she insist that it must go.

Alisio,
I am glad to see that your a comedian, will you be here all week? You must be one of those guys that tells all your friends how you run your house and your wife does everything you say as long as she is not around to hear you say it. I have several other hobbies, and the 500 has not even bees started in several months, so even if she did not care I would still need to sell it to help with property taxes and etc.

Thanks for your concern

Quite the opposite.... When she says jump, I say how high....

She's the President of both my construction companies.... I'm just a worker bee......

Because of this, I can do anything I want... like keep the first bike I ever built.

Its sad, you did a beautiful job on the build.

Have a look at Roosties garage sometime. He has every bike he;s ever owned......

It would be nice to keep them all, but I am just a working class man trying to earn a living and have a little fun along the way.

The bike did not handle the tight trails like I wanted it to
it has a flywheel weight
theres at least half your problem, but the ktm 300s are definatly an amazing woods bike, but i love my 500 everywhere
the 450 will have less power and will be harder to start, and will be heavier, but to make up for it it will require more maintenance.
