Annoying Kicker

What have you guys done about your annoying kickers. Mine seems to love to rest and rattle right on top of my pipe... sometimes drives me nutz sometimes makes me think my piston is about to come flyin up between my legs..

Pull the clutch side case cover and re-index the inner part of the kicker shaft.
No longer have a CR500.

This brings up another question... can the kicker be reversed??? im not gonna do it on my bike but i have been doing some brain storming and would need to reverse it for a project i have brewin in my melon
