Hey Stuz...have you applied to Canberra, for a import vehical application...it cost $50.00, can take up to 6wks.
If you havnt & it arives in AUS they will crush it or you've got to send it back to were it came from @ your cost.

I found this out only yesterday as Feebees (wife) uncle is a customs agent & im trying to get a bike into the country out of the USA as well.

I'll be in Adelaide for 3 days, i'm leaving tonight, give me a call
0439 900 835, if you wanna drop a beer & talk bikes.

hey mate, na i haven heard of that before?
thats a bit of a head fuck!
as it turns out, i sent a email to the two sellers. one is already sold and im not holding my breath on the other one.
i wonder if that law can be bypassed if the poackage was not a whole bike???
i mean if it was as simple as removing the front end and posting it seperatly, then by law it would only be classified as "parts", therefore exempt.therefore eliminating the 6 week wait and the fee at the expense of extra shipping fee.
think ill speak to that scott fella first, find out all the details.

hey i live in christies downs, its in the south of adelaide. if your down this way, your welcome to drop in for some drinks and a ride if ya keen. im working mon to fri atm, but im home by 4.
im just recovering from an "off" at pt gawler endoro track today.my first crash in quite a while.
couldn recover from a highside, held on as it bucked, and had my chest smash into my new scotts damper.those dampers are great for highspeed wfo runs, but they mess you up when you need to recover from a fish tale slide out. the impact tore through my jumper, and tshirt and caned my sternem chest area.ended up riding the rest of the day after a half hour break with a sore chest and a bruised ego.wasnt wearing any armour.
think ill be waking up sore for work tomorrow.
my number is 0419831562. i wont be around wednesday but the rest of the week ill be around. just text me and ill give ya my address.

and had my chest smash into my new scotts damper
thats why im getting a sub mount, i heard a guy almost lost his weiner because of that, dont know if its true or not
the 450 will have less power and will be harder to start, and will be heavier, but to make up for it it will require more maintenance.

dude i would fucking believe it. ive currently got it strapped up with a thick sponge for the moment. my chest is still blue and yellow but im glad it wasnt my balls that took that hit!!!!
i am actually suprised that i didnt break the low speed damped.
if i could have my purchase again, i would prob get the submount too.
gotta send an email to scotts to see if they have protective pads for these things.
