Frames, Parts and more question....

Post by AMA714 »

Hey guys, its been a while since I have been looking to get a 500 A/F and thank god I never paid TTM for the one he had for me..lol

Anyway, Im looking to either buy a bike or build one. Has anyone started to make kits with parts as nice as Facher was making?

I found a 2002 CR 250 conversion already done with a 91 engine, is that a Gen 2 or 3?

Thanks again,
Zach

Thanks to Danny and Bob for answering all of my questions... Im starting to put together parts... Just bought a complete 2000 CR500 (might actually ride it)
My next question, has anyone done a 2009 CRF 450 conversion? I really like mine, and was thinking I may convince my wife Ill just keep it for the 500 and get a new one...lol

shaggy has kits for those 09 450s, just buy it, your local welder can place the pre made parts in with your engine as a pattern and bolt it together, possibly the 2nd easiest bike by the sounds of it

Do I ever! It's about the only place I ride. I ride the over 40 class. I'll PM you instead of boring people.

well my CR 500 that i bought was a roach... After chasing the guy around for weeks, I go to get it and find out the 2000 has a 85 engine in it, and everything just looks like shit!!! to say I was bummed is a major understatement...Lesson learned on internet finds...

So I am still hunting for a 500 engine for the 08 CRF 250 that I did get...lol.
