TGT suspension bars
i bought some from artemious7 and i like them it makes the forks softer on bumps at slow speed, and the same as stock on big/fast hits, the bleeder is cool too, its 1 button right by the adjustment knob
i didnt add any oil because in the magazines it said the forks (on the 09 crf250) worked better with 5mls oil taken out
havent messed with any of the adjustment either, i was too busy riding
i think there expensive at $250, but a steal for $150 shipped and a pair of cycra handguards, but i would still buy them for $250
just the bars are only $90 i think
it wouldnt be hard to get your own bars and tap them to fit the tgt knob and lines

For $150 bars you could buy a valve kit and do it right, eliminating the need for the bars that you will have to replace every time they get tweaked...

and i could buy any bars i want and tap them to fit in about 2 minutes , i think its 1/8"NPT, and i have 3 of those taps, oh and id have to switch to expandable rubber handguard mounts
the valve and the lines are the important pieces
tell me more about this valving kit, im interested, where do i get it are they all the same, which is the best?

i also noticed that when my forks bottom they make a squeak, is that normal, i realigned my forks twice(following the manual instructions exactly) because i thought i tightened the axle wrong but it didnt change it at all

i originaly had JMC 1.2A 120mm computer fans from surplus herbys...to give you an idea reg comp fams are .2 of an amp, i hooked them up really nicely, couldnt see any wires, CRAZY AIRFLOW and they didnt last 10 minutes too high current and high rad temps, they couldve been shit fans tooDid Britincali do the wiring for you?
so i didnt want to spend too much time on it till i get the right fans, its not even soldered

They arnt all the same. I have only personally used Race Tech kits so I cant tell you how well the competitors work, but myself and anyone who have ridden my bikes or someone elses bike I have done, can tell you how well Race Tech works! Heck no that aint normal, unless what you are hearing is the seal sliding over dry fork slider. Take some brake cleaner to the fork sliders and clean them real good. Use a filter skin and you won't be cleaning that filer constantly. I have not cleaned mine in many rides but have changed the skin several times. Filter still looks like when I put it in. I'm kinda fussy about making sure not one spec of dirt gets in the airboot during a filter swap. More to the point, cleaning the dirt that does get in the boot out is a pain. Filter skins RULE
Squeak huh? Sure the linkage is greased. I don't even run a new bike without pulling the linkage/swingarm apart and greasing it properly. You must have very good ears or a very bad squeak. Whenever I bottom out I'm focused on holding on, not listening.

s it easy to do????????????, i dont mean instaling it, but am i going to be messing with it all the time, or do i follow a baseline and adjust a few times from therebut myself and anyone who have ridden my bikes or someone elses bike I have done, can tell you how well Race Tech works!

when i jump in at high idle rpm in 4th or 5th so i dont end up getting a helicopter rideYou must have very good ears or a very bad squeak

In my experience the setups I have done worked so well that they are "optimized" for me either right in the starting clickers or a few clicks either way. I have never had to pull the shim stack and change it. A few of the guys here have ridden my stuff and not one has had anything but very positive things to say. Keep in mind im not claiming to be the reason this stuff works so well, that thanks all goes to the professionals designing the kits. I simply installed them after carefully investigating what I needed out of the setup by talking to people who do boingers for a living...(Race Tech and Fine Line)

im going to get it eventualy but i will probably have to guess because theres no such thing as a suspension shop in canada
i want to soften up the first 2/3 of the stroke so im not bouncing over the bumps in the woods the afx suspension probably wouldve worked better for me, but i didnt want the sh ignition
is there a chart saying this combo shims = close to stock
and this=softer than stock
and this = harder......
what about the progressive valve springs you were talking about on another thread, do you think those would cut it for me
im 145lbs stock 09 crf250 frame, comp clickers little softer than stock

When you buy Race Tech valves you get a "key" that allows you to log in (for a limited time, like 15 minutes) to use their computer system. You input your weight, the riding you do, etc. etc. and the system gives you a "build sheet" in PDF that you can also print. It tells you exactly what shims to use for Low, Mid (if you choose not to check valve it) and high speed and gives you torque specs and oil level, etc.
I would do the Merge RRS springs NOW and that alone will make you very happy and is super easy to do. On my YZ450 I didnt even remove the forks from the triples. Its not the preferred method as breaking them down and doing a proper inner chamber bleed, but it worked perfectly fine and I cant tell the difference from the other 2 bikes I did "the right way"...

Yup they sure are, here is our contact in the states but they can give you the Canook Phone # im sure 951-549-9526 he tells me average retail cost for a re-spring and valving tuned to the spring rate is $750-$850 USD if the work is done in Canada, eh...

Well it is NOT cheap, but results don't lie. I can't say enough about how good my FC stuff is. The work IS guaranteed, if you are not happy send it back and they will make you happy.
I will say that mine is set up with ALL the bells and whistles they offer excuding coatings like DLC. Those are a waste of $$ unless you are a top pro.

those guys burnt thier shop down a year or 2 ago, they came up with some pretty trick stuff to replace a few sets of ktm suspension we had sitting there.

Also, I use uni filters beacause thay are true 2 layer. Oil the inside, leave the outside dry, this way dust is stopped , but not collected on the outer layer
Pro action has a suspension shop in Calagry amd there is also RMR in Edmonton area. Both are very good. All of the provincial guys run their stuff, and pro action has been doing excellent suspension here for 20 years
Check the fork gaurds, I bet they are rubbing on the fork tube making the squeek.

just figered out ian mckill(world famous suspension tuner) lives in town $215 for revalve and $100 to respring, so itl be $630 for both ends to be setup by a suspension god
