That intersection is a long ways out of my way if I would be coming I would come up the 18 off the 10 to the 138 where off the 138 could we meet up in the mountains.
and I need a wilderness pass also right?

I am in. do you come up the hill from the chevron or do you ride from that staging spot off the 15? I am in Hesperia and don't want to drive down the hill to drive up the hill. do you go up 138 from the 15?

I dont know the name of the staging spot. If you go east on the 138, go 5 minutes past the lake, turn in on the left, quick right.. go a few hundred yards and the porta-shitters are on the left... thats where we stage.

Al Gava is good with names of stuff.... whats that area called Al?

cool, it's down by the detention center? I will meet you at the split of the 138 and 173. otherwise it is like 15 miles out of the way in the wrong direction. if it is the miller creek staging area, then we are cool. so i will just wait to hear for sure from Al.

Solid says thats the place, "Miller Canyon".

Solid and Pecker have some work going on Wed, we may move this ride to Thursday if it helps them get out.

Solid's going to post up what schedule works from them later today.

my brother is planing on making this ride and he is a just geting back on a bike after 30 years.

SO ARE WE MEETING AT THE 38 173 CROSSING ?
OR IS THE STAGING AREA DOWN THE 38 TOWARDS THE 18?

We usually meet at the Chevron on 138 turnout from 15(OC people).
138 crosses 173 a few miles ahead on the way to the staging area.
That would be a good spot to meet ya if you don't know where the staging area is.
