exhaust help

Post by wideopen »

I am sure everyone will tell me to use the search feature ( I have but I am not finding what I need, I am a little dumb though) I have a pc pipe it is cracked and dented, so I am looking to buy a new one. I found a used fatty, will my pc silencer work with that? I did find that the gnarly sucks for the 500 by reading on the site, so how does the fatty compare to the pc? I am looking for mid to topend power comparisons. Is there any other good pipe out there? I am new to the 500. I know that cpi pipe's rock on the banshee but the reviews dont look so hot for the cr5. Thanks for the help.

I am looking for mid to topend power comparisons
even though roosty didnt like the power delivery of the CPI it made 5.5hp more peak = 10% more more peak power

10% more more peak power for a bolt on is kickass even if it messes the low end
the 450 will have less power and will be harder to start, and will be heavier, but to make up for it it will require more maintenance.

Lots of people like the gnarly, you haven't said what and where you are riding. I have a stocker on mine....
