I did an expresion of interest on these covers about 2 mths ago & at last count there were 20 punters wanting set's while some wanted singles. This interest was from members all over the world.
Bob try'd to prompt him, a few of us sent PM's as a tactic, but to no avail...the only real thing confirmed was that the CAD drawings were not for lend,copy or sale.........

Either 1 of us is going to have to map them out or buy SH or Boysen gear.

OK Bob who do i send the money too, how much for a set and how much to ship to Australia, I will buy 5 sets, and sell them to the Aussies on this site if they want them for the price that you guys charge and frieght. Just give me some numbers and i will oganise the bucks ok. Agent is booked for a set unless otherwise stated, Asteroid, if you want a set let me know....

1 buy a pair of SH covers $300 AU
2 weld them in...$200
3 mill the face of both covers to a satin finish. $100
4 mill/CNC your own logo into your filled in SH covers...(dont know what that would cost).

He didnt have the opertunity to get Shans covers, & he also has access to a engineering shop so it was alittle easier to do....

Cripes, if he had access to an engineering shop, why didn't he get some made up in full? I guess it probably comes under the old costs escalating out of control book. I've had a couple of projects bite me in the arse like that over the years. Not a criticism of him, just feeling sorry for the bloke / recognising how things can get you, comment.

I saw what he got stung for with the ultra short spark plugs and caps and freight, no wonder his AFs owe him and the other fellow, from what I've read, damned near $20,000 :shock:

Hopefully, Bobs mate at Sudco might be able to sort out that useful plug / cap combo, so it's more affordable for AF riders.

S/H wants $250 a set... I'm guessing these are closer to $300 a set.

The final cost depends on the quantity.... the more ordered, the cheaper they will be.


Get your Aussie order finalized.... Give me give the quantities and I'll pass that info to Shan, he'll give me a priced shipped to OZ, and we'll go from there.

This thing seems to be going in circles....

Tiktakboom wont need any as he recently got a SH set,

Asteroid ask Deni, he might be in for a set or 2, easier for you to give him a call

& I dont think I will need a set, thanks anyways, my bikes already have alloy covers

I need 1 set at least could use 2. I would like to know the price before making a commitment. The SH ones are $225 to my door thru ebay but would prefer blanks with no engravings.
