I never quite understood that. Why some guns are outlawed in California. Such as some single-stack 1911's are not California legal.

An expanded hollow-point out of a 1911 (.45 ACP) is basically a flying ashtray. What difference does it make what model it is?
I watched a video from Olympia. It was Sen Kline working to ban Assault Weapons. Which is a foot in the door to take all weapons. It was a complete circus. His bill failed.

Sure you could "pepper" the hillside with an assault rifle. But it only takes "one" well placed shot center-mass to kill a person. Whether its a .22, .38, AK/SKS or a .45 is invalid. Example, the Skinny's in Mogadishu. They had AK but could not hit shit/pray and spray. Most Gunshot victims live unless its a headshot or they are hit center mass.
Bad guys are going to get guns regardless. Thats why they are the bad guys. Not going to take my guns... IMO, a legally armed citizen (schooled in the law and is competent with a firearm) is a good thing. Why?
1) Cops cant be everywhere
2) Bad guys dont make appointments
3) Its one hell of a deterrent for the bad guys since most are cowards. They only attack those they presume are unarmed and that they can over-take easily.

I dont want my family to be a statistic. Hopefully, I will never have to draw. I am 6' 3" bald and ugly so chance favors I wont.
However, I know a co-worker that has drawn 4 times in Spanaway and Puyallup. Both places have bad spots.....got that burrito snakin through? Pull into a gas station to take a Cleveland-Steamer only to find your car gone when you come out.
