ok the air filter was soaking wet, i cleaned it really good and re-oiled. I also changed the spark plug, but forgot to check for spark :x

would that also be the same seal that makes the trans oil mix with the coolant? im not sure if mines mixing or not yet, i havent changed any of the fluids yet, but i will tommorow. it sounds like thats the problem though

where can i buy the seal online? i try to only go the only bike shop in town ...

Does your bike run well when it fires up? Im beginning to think you have a toast crank seal...

it sputters a little bit when cold, needs to be ran hard through a few gears and by 5th gear it runs like a champ. before then when you get on it, it wont rev out high. but it defitanly runs awsome once ...

that would be awsome if you had a step by step overview with pictures, it sounds like i could do this myself. i just wish i was setup to weld aluminum. i think i will want a kit, but dont want to tell you for sure yet. maybe after you add to your origional post so ill know for sure.

this time it started back up i think 3 or 4 times without flooding, but now its flooded again. i defiantly think the float needle is worn

The motor is held in place near the perfect position by the rear swingarm bolt and mount

ahh i didnt think of swingarm bolt, the motor would be aligned perfectly and i would just have to tilt it correctly. maybe i could make pencil parks on the frame where the mounts need to be welded and then ...

i should buy one of those kits probably, but im not able to weld aluminum and dont really want to do all the mock up to get it perfect

But you need to remove your carb completely and set the float height correctly.

How EXACTLY do you do this? The service manual makes no sense to me on this one. Neither does any of the advice I've been given.
