Almighty Graves

the king danny graves :notworthy:

I saw a thread that dated back to june of 07 about a SH ignition issue, you really let ole Graves have it in one of the threads, I am new here and have reviewed quite a bit of his stuff, looks like he knows most of what he discusses, outside of using odd ...

my mikuni is a bitch to tune but ran noticeably better after I got it dialed in. of coarse, the size and powerjet were the biggest differences and would have been the same if I used a 41 pwk and a powerjet.
the FCR seems pointless to me.

Alright, I ordered the PW41, I never re-use gaskets and am ...

41 mm Carb

Nothing is simpler than a Kehein PWK PWK is the shiz! if I build another fast bike, pwk 41mm all the way if I'm sticking to gas. Although I really like my mikuni tm41pro and it obviously has some seriouse engineering and technology packed into a very finely built carb... its just a bear to dial in ...

Re: Shift Levers

I see some shift levers that say they fit 83 to 88 and more that say they fit 83 to 01 and yet more that say 89-01. Are there any differences in the shift levers in any of years - different shape perhaps?
I have a pile or shifters, 85, 86, 89, 90 and a pile of cr250 shifers. the 250 shifters are ...

I got it dude

Pic not necessary and idea very helpful. But it looks like SH is going to modify what I need and mail out today. Your idea is simple and helpful, now a joke as I sincerely appreciate your input, here it is: But that would be like putting an odd bolt in my clutch cover that would have a 10mm head ...

Confusion

The SH shifter DOES NOT require any removal of the engine to adjust the shifter, it simply does not adjust to a level position. It is the substitute I used off of a stock cR500 that required the engine to be pulled. (it is all about where the cinch bolt enters the lever)

Either way, SH is working ...

stock shifter

The stock shifter bolt enters from the bottom, right where the SH frame rail is, there is no way to slide the shifter on and then shove in the bolt. Another good reason to find a RM250 type shifter as it's bolt enters from the rear side.

This is where i need help, an RM250 2007 shifter looks like it has the perfect bend I need, only it's splines do not ...

New 2008 CR500AF, Want to put an 87 Top end on

I should see a new 500af with the ' 08 chassis show up at my door in the next 5-10 days. I requested an '87 motor, but they do not go off of their current 'new motor' option. I want to go with the '87 top end.

What do I need to buy and apply to have the '87 hit that has never been repeated in my ...
