They just did a magazine test on the bike.

Mine went about 6mm in the center over 55-65mm length. So the taper is ever so slight and barely noticeable unless your looking for it.

Donny, the way I did mine was a 125. They are cheaper. Get a cheap 250 frame off eBay and swap it all over. Also you will sell a 125 engine very easily to the kart guys.

Personally your steelie looks pretty good, if it were me I'd source a second engine for the conversion. Mind you it don't bother ...

Thanks for the reply, i've worked out i can fit my shock spring from the steely. it's 5.6 with same dimensions. Little heavier than wanted. Might be a good thing given the torque these things have. Fingers crossed
