I personally watched the owner of Service Honda kick over a cold AFX. The rabbit kick worked easily and looked the same as the method I use on the stock stator. I find the rabbit kick to be easier then the conventional method. The reason for the rabbit kick on the new CDI was explained to me ...

Re: Hey Twist and Shout.....

You have had considerable experience with the S/H Digital Ignition. While the jury is still out, do you care to go over your experience with the unit? We have heard PRO views, CON views, and somewhere in between. Stiles, do you have enough time with that OEM unit Lewis loaned you to come to any con...

I think they are referring to the fact that Service Honda is still building cr500AF's thus the continueing years past 2001. I have one and don't plan on getting rid of it...so far :D Since the 500 has a tall 1st gear and tended to stall on me quite often because of it and probably my fault as well, ...

Heat in AZ? Come on :D March and April in the valley can be rather hot or it can be perfect..all depends on your luck. For me it doesn't bother me as I ride year round, in fact I prefer riding in the summer since I get up early and start riding at about 5:30 am. The wife loves it too since I'm home ...

2006 CR125 KYB shock on a 2003 Service Honda

I mistenly thought all Hondas had Showa and bought a 2006 cr125 shock. It ended up as some know a KYB shock and NOT Showa. The dimensions are off a bit with the spring being somewhat narrower and the length approximately 8mm longer.

Is this something I can still use or do I need to send it back?

Another Big Bore Guy

Well my wife says I'm a big bore! :D Been riding for a little over 4 years after a 25 year layoff. Rode as a kid and loved it and figured I'd get back in again. The bikes obviously are SSOOooo much better now. I started back up with a 250 KTM and went riding with a few chums with CR500s and knew rig...
