Looks great, works even better,no more looking for something to lean the bike against.
I can now let it idle on the side stand, used to vibrate off the work stand.
Best aftermarket stand i'v ever seen.

Who said its easier to start?.. Decomp means it's only easier to Kick! Maybe its cos the mixture is going out the decomp valve and not back into the crackcase via the rings? One thing i did notice is it's harder to find TDC wiith the valve in. BIt like an xr400. Better to find TDC first then p...

Anyone know what the name/code of the silver color the later engines were painted in? I need to repaint my (sandblasted) head after getting a decomp valve fitted.
cheers

The plastic frame guards are not fitted on the first pic either.
There not the greatest looking but they cover a bigger frame area than
the metal guards, I still like the look of the alloy guards though.

Here's a few pics , In my opinion the GTR is the equivalent of a 4wheel version of a CR500. https://bannedcr500riders.com/images/auto/a5cfaa8a6f594c9e4196777181e76c8b.jpg https://bannedcr500riders.com/images/auto/b75d9c575249b3b8c6e6f79c04c2e325.jpg https://bannedcr500riders.com/images/auto/772bb777...

Makes me sick how cheap you can pick up a good bike in the states for.
The local bike shop here has a nice orignal/well worn'86 and they want au$4,990.
