make sure that the shock linkages are the same, i think the x model is different, it wouldnt work on my build so i have it laying around. Im not sure of differences in frames but the x runs a 18" rear wheel and softer suspension. you benefit from the x with a more accessible airbox and all the ...

a hit on that side of the pipe could tighten up the way it wraps around. be sure to figure out your silencer mounting before making that rear stinger mount, do that one last after you have the whole exhaust where you want it. it should all bolt up without any pulling or tension on it that could caus...

the kit will fit everything but the rightside number plate on 05-06 crf450's, honda changed it in 07-08 when they changed the the subframe rail on that side for better access to the rear mastercylinder.

will not fit the 09-up or crf250's

I'll put my 2 cents in again on this subject- my first frame had a neat hoop design that used the 450 mounts and went around the back of the head. From the start the bike vibrated too much and the head stay continually cracked. The nipples on the radiators cracked after only a few months. The next ...

I too would like to know about balancing the crank with the flywheel or just having the flywheel balanced. in autos these parts are balanced, i have seen some mx bikes flywheels with balancing holes drilled in them but none on the cr250's or 500's.

thanks for the ignition system hoofarted. i installed it and rode around the yard then took it off ! i didn't like the transition from bottom to mid like the 250 system gives. I installed a 93 analog 250 system that i like better than the 250 digital, seems mellower. I installed the new reeds and re...

Alisobob, As far as gearing im running a 14/50 combo which seems good. i used 3rd gear on most of the track and 2nd for the turns, one of the turns i almost need to use 1st ! tight track !
