Its the same as mine, I used the CR500 rubber snorkel boot thingy with little bit of heat gun help to make it soft, find its home on the carby intake and let it set in place. Should work ok.

Even if anyone can look at the 2 side by side and spot any major differences Id mega appreciate it.

Bearoso, the class Im looking at is the mx flat track, where methanol is not allowed - hence the CR500 engine, maybe a xr600 engine would be better suited? But then I wouldnt be interested.

And your right, not even a bombed CR500 motor could come close when up against a speedway ...
