Get it to where the "HONDA" on the clutch cover looks level then you can measure distance for bottom mount.

Get it to where the pipe fits the frame well..... thats the important issue.....

Getting the cover level will do just that. If he leaves it tilted back the rear pipe mount will be ...

What distance between the mountingpoint, and the frame sould I +/- have?

I mounted the exhaust today, and I measured 35mm. Isn't that a bit much?

I bought this yesterday I didn't expect it to be so expencive 110€

Today, I bought a CR500 motor ('95)

I tought so too. But on another forum, they said it's a Gen II
I wasn't sure so I believed them (stupid mistake )

I have a GEN II (CRF450 2003) Do these bushings (54-59mm) work on my bike?

Do you have a pic of a mounted headstay? Will it fit on my bike?

I found a motor from '95, wath electrics and carb. Next week (friday) I'm going to pick it up
Then the rebuild van begin

It's for combined use. Sometimes MX, sometimes supermoto. Can I deal with that if I adjust the sprockets?

I found a 91 CR500 for 1250€ is that a good price? And are those motors any good (are they pretty much the same as the newer models?)

He drove for 5hours. The firts owner broke wilth op previuw bike both het scholderleaves (I dont know the good word :oops: ). If he rode the bike for 10 minute he had main for 2 days. Then he sold it to an friend of mine who took out teh motor for a superkart :D
