Gen 3 OEM Swingarm Spacers and Washers

From what I can tell, The CR500 engine and later CR125 engine share the same rear width where the swingarm bolt goes through. This makes it possible to use the CR125 stuff when doing A/F conversions.

The following part numbers are for Gen 3 applications...

You need the following parts... The total for the whole thing should be about $25

Quanitity: Part:

2 52143-KZ4-J40 Washers

1 52141-KZ4-J40 Bushing ( long side, 59mm)

1 52142-KZ4-J40 Bushing ( short side, 54mm)

I am looking into if this fits the Gen 4 applications as well.

Other Gens, measure the width to see if the 59mm / 54mm is whats needed to make it all fit.

PM me with any corrections!!

Originally they were 58mm and 55mm. Since I can't get a hold of Brian to find out what year/model there from I when with the above. Only problem was redoing the thickness of the washers for the head stay. As there two 1/4" plates that were bent by a press brake.

I got the bushings but the part number for the washers ended giving me two different size collars that go into the swingarm? ( Packaged wrong I assume) Funny thing is they look like they will work without using the bushings?? I still have some more hogging out to do to fit the engine in all the way, then I will know for sure.

Collars is what you need (or use your stock ones). What you listed are swingarm bearing washers and have nothing to do with your spacing. One collar on each outside, one long (59mm) bushing on the right, a shorter one (54mm) on the left.

If your right bushing is good, you can move it over to the left since the ones I've checked are 54mm. Just measure it to make sure.

If you got different sized collars when ordering # 52143-KZ4-J40 then, yes, they were packaged wrong. One number x 2 should be two identical parts, right?

PS: Make sure to double-check that crack thing. :lmao: J/K.

Thanks Bob and thanks for sharing the part numbers. We all owe you a cold one. :clink:

Not only is it great to know if you have a complete bike, but also if you just have a frame. Buy the parts you listed plus a swingarm bolt/washer/nut and start fabbing since you know right there your spacing is right. :nanna:

The 54mm/ 49mm Gen 3 spacers when used on the Gen 4 place the motor a little to much to the right.

I'm checking into a solution.

They should be 51mm/ 52mm

The friggin soultion was to turn the countrshaft sprocket the right direction facing out ( Thanks Brit..... ) and put the short (54mm) Gen 3 250 bushing on the left, and the long one (59mm) on the right...

BTW: I got two sets of covers yesterday.....'88 and '01. I am working the design today and probably tomorrow too. I'll post up pics of the blank covers and then we can start the process of deciding the design everyone likes the best.
