BBQ paint...

Ok so I got tired of the ugly Bills pipe on my 250 and wanted the factory black look of the stock pipe. I heard some guys had good luck with high temp BBQ paints so I gave Rustoleum High temp ultra in semi gloss a try. It looks bitchen and doesnt cook off. The problem is when its hot it gets tacky so dirt sticks too it. So back to square one...
I have used Duplicolor header paints in the past but just like this BBQ paint any solvent takes it right off (just spilling gas on it). Anyone found a duplicate for the stock Honda pipe paint?

I got a 2003 cr250 pc platinum pipe and pc 403 silencer for sale it has a carbon fiber pipe guard on it it's still tits!
Hell I go a complete 03 cr250 motor for sale too

i paint the cases with brake caliper paint, dont know what its like on pipes

Did the paint stick to the steaks or did you cover them in foil 1st?

I'm always down to ride I appreciate the offer man. I'm down two bikes because of the conversion but once it's done I'm down for sure.

theres several different brands of header paint. i used some and worked good, cant remeber which brand. but my pipe dont see 1400* like you lean mean guys

Yeah I got it, thanks.
Yup, we are based in Vegas and thats where 90% of the stuff is shipped unless its a drop shipper like Rekluse, Unabiker, etc.
