Good Luck Danny!

I'm leaving tomorrow at 3 am for an early ride. secret singletrack on a fresh motor.

last time it took 5 hours to do 38 miles. one of the toughest trails i have found in so cal. hope to finish before the sun cooks me. :D

it was a damn good time, when the sun went down it cooled off quick! I finally sacked up and got into 3rd gear and fully cleared the smaller stuff on the track. After growing a pair I hit the jump at the rear corner (the one in MFDBs avatar) and I landed short, hand came off the bars, chest on teh tank, I bottomed out HARD. Decided to pace myself and wait with that one since its the biggest one on the track. Still a little scetchy about the bigger doubles, but clearing all the small tables. I guess a couple more trips and I'll be clearing everything, I'm just trying to pace myself so I don't over do it and require a chopper ride out.

now, my truck on the other hand.......

I sat here watching Washougal streamed over the web.
They had a 3 lap vintage race that was pretty cool in addition to the 450/250 races.
It will probably be in their archive in a couple of days.
It was like 97 here, me and the critters stayed indoors all day.
Extreme heat/humidity messes me up for days if I work in it and I play harder than I work.
btw-What track did you ride?

yep. that is a super punishing trail. one obstacle after another, no rest, no roads just gnarly singletrack. :)
