Well I have ridden in a Cessna before but landed where we took off. But I am flying to Texas Sunday morning. We are flying on EMBRAER RJ140 JET, from KY to TX then getting on a EMBRAER 145 JET to go on to where we are staying. On the way back I am on a ATR72 TURBOPROP then a EMBRAER RJ140 JET back to Ky. Are these good planes?

Going regardless but just curious about them. Anybody been on one or know what they are all about?

We are laying over in Dallas FT worth for about an hour anything I should know about that airport?

as long as you are not trying to drive out of ft worth-dallas, you'll be ok, I've gotten trapped trying to drive out of that airport twice.

Don't worry about the planes. It's more likely the snot nosed zitty faced kids making $12K a year up front you need to worry about.

EXACTLY, they hire these guys with as little as 500 hours these days. Fuckin crazy! Thanks to that idiot that crashed in Buffalo last year we have to do tons more simulator shit to make sure we are " Trained" properly.

Well, I made it there and back. Had a few delays with what they called just a broken plane but home again none the less.

So there are tons of places to eat at but not alot to do down there. We spent the better part of 2 weeks just being drunk in a hotel room. With the occasional trip to the bar. I think 106 or so was as hot as it got so it wasn't that bad. It rained the first 2 days but sun from then on. I saw one of Bob's King Cobras at a Texaco station near the hotel but didn't buy one. Wishing I had now just to see if it is any count. If I have to go back I will get one. For those of you in Tx or going there you should eat at Texas Land and Cattle. That place was amazing and the waitress and manager were both really cool to us. We sort of were the life of the party when we were there. Bunch of Drunks from Kentucky. They didn't know what to think when we showed up.
