Flat top piston?

Anybody selling a flat top piston for our 500?
The stock piston traps a second range of combustables out near the ring land due to the shape of the piston and combustion chamber.

I want to try a flat top piston and custom chamber.

Anyone running Dewayne Jones 1 ring wiseco pistons?
I am concerned about ring, piston and bore life.
How wide are your exhuast ports, and are you running a exhaust bridge?
Asking as all of this has an effect on ring life.

Thanks
Lyle

If you are concerned with ring life why the hell would you even consider a single ringer?

I think Slomo runs his pistons until they are flat

Thats why I was asking.
Is the operarting or reliability halved?

Got any answers? any experience?

I have never ran a single ring piston before, on anything, so I have no idea what to expect.

I would like to get 1 year on a top end, wheras I would get 3 or more seasons, if I wanted on a 2 ring stock setup,
I changed them every year anyway.
