The CR500 is an acquired taste. If you don't like it, acquire some taste...

everytime a thread pops up with lost compression, seems like it has something to do with exhaust bridge and/or bad machining. luckily a bore and piston is fairly cheap.

i highly doubt glenn did a bad bore job.... ill be calling him and sending it back to get re-worked... May even be parting the bike out for a rzr-s

pull the head off and look. if all the machine work from glen is good, only other option is you had the jetting fucked up and it fried, really no other options by how you desribed it pinged and just lost compression

I swear by Vertex. You cant get them tight enough to squeek them. Something else is going on.

i didnt get a chance to get any pics, it is allready boxed up.. the cylinder didnt look to bad, the wristpin was stock in the piston pretty good, normal signs of over heating......
