CR250 06-07 shock in Gen 2

Post by Roostmaster »

Ive found a 06 -07 CR250 shock and want to know if it will fit into my Gen 2?

Can anyone tell me if it will fit??

If it will, then is there going to be a problem with the difference in stroke dampening?

Cheers for any words of wisdom.
I have been to the top of the mountain and yes it is good.

So is the 2001 shock 5mm shorter than the 06-07 shock or visa-versa?

If the 06 - 07 shock is 5mm longer I wonder how much that will put the suspension 'out of whack'? Im not sure what the ratio would be but 5mm at the shock would raise the arse end up a fair bit wouldnt it?

Thanks for the links Roostius, good collection of pics & info.
