I've seen Brit stand on a dime, barefooted, and tell me if it was heads or tails....

Not a bad trait, in this economy....

Nice!

How would you get your bike over there? Is the race going to charter some of the cruisers and let people put there bikes on them?

I read on another board that the organizers will rent a barge and carrying your bike there and back will be included in the race entry. I'm going to assume you'll drive somewhere like LB and drop your bike off, take the ferry over, and pick your bike up on the other side. They would probably have a parc ferme type setup rather than letting everyone ride or push their bikes about town. My worry is this will turn out like Mammoth and all the entries will be gone after 2 mins.

Cool. I started thinking about the logistics of getting everything over there like fuel, tools, and gear and was wondering how they would do that. I didn't even think about once over there how you would get your bike around.

Catalina is small. I wonder how many entries they will have.

I am guessing you'll send bike sans fuel on the barge. Then you'll go over with your gear and anything else you can drag, including a few tools and maybe camping gear. I've been over with hundreds of kids camping and all the Dads get a large ice chest with wheels and then strap everything else to the top.
