pwk VS pwk airstriker!?!?

soooo, called sudoco to place and order on a 41.5mm pwk airstriker and they are out of stock untill who knows when... So i need to pony up the $ and buy a 39pwk and have it bored out..

what advanage dow the pwk have over the pwk airstriker?
is it worth the diffrence?
how far can a 39pwk be bored to?

anyone have a 41.5 airstriker for sale?!?? ill pay top $!

I thought 38 was as big as the airstriker went...

also, what slide would i need after i bored it to 41.5 ish mm?

any ideas on jetting also?

cpi pipe, little porting, 1st bore over, cr250 ignition,

i'm going to put the 4 carbs i have on the flowbench, maybee next week and i'll see whats up with the flow at wfo for the A/S carbs

if i could wait around i would.... but i need a carb on the bike by may 22 so that this bike is ready to strap to the dyno!

Punched mine out to 41. I think it will depend what model you start with. Mine came off a 1998 CR250. We didn't touch the bell mouth on the inlet and left the air vanes in there.

Some of the ones i saw didn't look like they could take that much off

what is this "pro-flow" you speak of glenn? how big can you take one and what do they run?

It's a mach. runs about $10,00.00 to however much you want to spend. I heard a little bird told me roostey was getting one.Roostey don't forget to check a stock PJ also you might be surprised.I've played with all of them on the flow bench and I was surprised at the results

Its been real long time and that motor was fierce. so needle not sure but stock slide as CR250. slides really don't need to be played with if you have right needle. I had to cut the top of the slide so it would clear the bigger bore. haha
