Fixing alcohol engine

Hi Glen,
I recently bought a cr 500 hillclimber on alcohol. I rode it a couple times and then tore it down to check it out. The piston was pretty beat up, and it looks like there is a crack in the exhaust bridge. The thing ran hard that way so i cant wait to get it going again. So my questions are. What should the clearances be when i bore it? and can i grind out the bridge like i have seen on your new stuff? And the piston had 2 windows in the back should i put them back?I dont know who ported it but its hogged out pretty good and it has a 44 mil lectron with packard float bowl and a fmf fatty. runs like shit with gnarly on.only has first gear so i run a 15/44 gear ratio.some people tell me to run a little nitro in it how much is safe? and how many hrs. should i be getting out of a piston? thanks and any advise on running alcohol woud be great.
