Buttonwillow supermoto 5 2 10

River scored a 2nd and 3rd today.... in one class they had a split start and he actually caught up with a few 450's in the back of novice......got a couple of good clips..... well decent is a better word.... anyways we missd you guys at Speedway, but i ended up working saturday and so we spent my birthday rocking supermoto on sunday instead.....buttonwillow is less than 30 minutes north of my house in bakersfield, so it was nice on my fuel budget! i waxed them in my heat race from the back row but i got tired trying to keep up with the 500 on a slick track and i could only muster 4th in the vet 30 main....
not bad for no laps in a calendar year....and 2 bud lights for lunch! great race day program! It felt good to short shift, back it in on the slipper, and then grease the rear on exit........every corner!
River attacked the track as he's fitting his bike a little better now and he was really hanging it out.....
