just a quick question sense you on the subject.
I have a 03 250 I have a dude who wants to buy this motor and put it in his 97 frame. what mods have to be done?

well, thats actually a very different subject, but I would imagine its the same as any other af conversion, except the frame cradle should be big enough you won't need to mod it.
Thats the totally opposite direction, most go with old motor in new frame, not new motor in old frame. The best cr250 mototrs were the hpp engines ~93 to 2001, and the best frames are the newer ones.....
