Well this morning I get a few returned(undeliverable) emails.
I started noticing a pattern, these all started with the letter
A. So I go and look at the sent email folder and low and behold,
Emails are being sent alphabetically.
I click to see what's being sent, a link to ??????.angelfiredotcom.
Intereting is the starting letters were different on everyone sent.
Anyone know anything about this?

Funny shit -
But your PC is infested with something or something hijacked your email acct. Run scans from a reputable, updated AV.

I have Norton.
As soon as I realized what was going on, I logged off the net, ran a scan and only came up with a trojan cookie.
Hasnt continued since logging back on.
Hey Bob, stick a pin in the crotch of that doll for me

Sorry, but Norton = Poop. Lots of overhead and malware aims to undermine it all the time.
Try MS's free AV or Webroot. And go to malwarebytes.org and download their free scanner - works great.
Enjoy!

I've been all about MSSE lately, very little overhead and integrates well and seems to work well. malwarebytes is really good for an initial cleanup of a nasty infected system, after that run any old AV to finish up with the little things. Webroot catches the most by far, but tons of overhead and stupid registration BS

To be really safe you need several of these programs and run them fairly frequently. I have Symantec AV running 24x7 and then will do periodic scans with other programs like Webroot Spysweeper, Lavasoft etc.

we run symantec corp. 10.2 here since the newer stuff was really unstable. I have found that I occasionally get complaints about slow system performance, I will scan the system and dig through services, etc and find nothing wrong, but then uninstalling symantec and replacing with msse, avg, avast or similar will fix the poor system performance issue. I am to the point that I will not purchase another symantec product, backup exec was bad enough when it was veritas

to anyone reading this it is good to scan over with multiple programs, but DO NOT HAVE MULTIPLE REAL TIME SCANNERS RUNNING AT THE SAME TIME! it will run like shit, even cause system crashes, run 1 active scanner and when suspecting an infection run manual scans with other programs and shut them down when finished.
