You know, the steelies have their own spot and the af's have their own spot. Maybe we could get our own spot?
Maybe call it "Air Hammers"

Here's how I do it.
Go here in a seperate window and upload your photos:

http://www.bannedcr500riders.com/gallery/index.php

After it's uploaded, click on it and "copy" the location.
Go back to your post and Image

Hope that helps. Tony

Glad you got the pic posted. Is your frame white? I was thinking of doing my bike all white.
The frame on mine is silver right now and it looks good with the white fenders and tank. I have a new seat and side covers on the way.
Anyway, I have a brand new chain slider for an 83 and a seatpan and foam for an 83, used but in great condition if you need them. I thought they might fit my bike but don't.
Let me know if you need them. And do post some more pics. Tony
btw-Wanna see a sweet 480?

The CR480 looks SWEET, I also like the red, white and blue scheme.
Bought a brand new 84 CR500 12-21-1983, with in 6 months it had blue Suzuki fork boots on it and after a year the frame was white.

Honda wasn't the first to paint their frames white.
Actually I saw my mate was painting his 85 CR500 frame white and I went straight home and pulled mine apart, to do the same thing.
He had only had the bike about a week if that.

thanks, it's a work in progress. one thing i do recommend is disc brakes! it was night and day for me. the '87 forks soak up the jumps ALOT better as well. i was thinking of doing an ohlins rear shock if i could find a used one.

So, you don't plan to race it in the post vintage class? I think the disc brake makes it ineligible. You don't need brakes if there are plenty of berms or you can twitch it like a Honda is known for! Just get up on the tank and turn! ha ha ha!
Put the drum back on and meet us at Devils Ridge in Sanford NC for the national.

There are some old farts who think they are in a chase but, most of the guys are there for fun. Sometimes there are only 2 entries in a class and when one doesn't show you trophy! Besides, get your picture taken riding your bike in a national. I'm 52 and not in the hunt for 500cc world champion.
Go to the website and checkout the photos and check the race results.
When you gonna post some more pics?

Like a kid on Christmas day, he got up early to take photos but he forgot about near no sunlight.

The bike looks sweet, I really like the Honda air cooled bikes.

Would you like to buy a BRAND NEW one?

I knew of one for an 82 and an 83 CR480, don't know if they are still there though.

PM me if you are interested.
