nothing to do with the hill climbs but i didnt know where to post this sad news!!!

a man was killed sunday while riding with his daughter, they where on the hill coming down the trail across from moto mart,there was a guy on a quad on the very top of the hill, dont know if he was lost or didnt realize where he was,he started down the hill by the time he figured out that it was a cliff it was to late to stop the quad he bailed off and the quad ghost road strait down the hill off the cliff and t-boned the guy on the trail,he never made it off the trail!! i dont think he even seen it coming???

I have great sadness for both families involved!!

me and my family (10 of us) were on that trail earlier that day and just makes you think!! you never know

Yet, one more quad-tard - emphasis on (re)tard. Although I'm sure it was an accident; they usually result because a lack of thought.

i just read that article and saw his pic and just realized i knew him,im sitting here in disbelief ,cant believe it i dont think he was on any of the sites but i know for sure he was a stand up HOON!!!

i meet him last year at skips hillclimb races he had a 91 cr500 extended and was a C class rider as was I we were battleing with each other at every race and the fun shit talking that goes with it,the vet 0-700 class he took 1st place for the season and i got 2nd place.

i allways looked forward to seeing him and his friends at the races, he was i believe somehow related to Lefty Freuh, i just seen him at the skips opener and talked to him and some other people for about 1 hour they are good peoples that would help out a hoon in any way!!!

i had just picked up some new FOX winter pants that was white and black they were like 6 inches to long for my short legs but had the zipper to turn them into shorts,he was standing behind me and my wife aways,he walked over and said next time buy some gear that wasnt the same color as my legs were because he couldnt see were the pants stoped and my legs started.LOL!!! funny BOB!!! every one knows how white new gear is we all had a good laugh!!!

i was there the day it happened and seen bob with his family in the camp site as we rode back and forth all day,i was constantly looking for him so i could say was up!!!! even reved the 500 once as we rode threw but never made contact,i wished i went out of my way now, togo say HI!!!!!

ill be getting paid tomorrow and will be sending in a donation to the chuch mention in the article and i ask all of you, if you can, please!!! send a donation in, even a small one helps a fellow HOONS family
