a 06' F350 Dually 25,500 miles with the 6.0 diesel for $24,000 would be worth getting? I just don't know about the whole dually thing. That's a lot of rubber to buy.

If your going to be hauling a trailer that is way heavy alot, like a big toy hauler or big 5th wheel then it would be good but if not thats 2 extra tires and the truck is that much wider too, just my $.02

My dad used to drive an old F350 dually as his Daily Driver. the rear tires last nearly forever. i think he bought 2 sets in the 15 years he had it, and when it was sold, the rears had plenty of meat left.

How about an 05' Chevy 2500 6.6 Diesel with 30,500 miles for $23,000?

The later 6.0's werent as bad as the 03-05's They still have problems though.. Usually when you start modding is when things go south.. Turbo's and headgaskets/studs were the biggest problems. Again the later ones arent that bad.. If it were me buying a used truck i would find a 7.3 or go chevy/dodge depending on your comfort desires. Chevy = better ride.. Dodge = bad ass cummins :D

I just missed out on a mega cab 2500 with the cummins for $22,000 some prick from Arizona bought it. :P Either the 2500 or a 3500 mega cab would be my 1st choice. The longer I hold out the more I get out of my truck now so not in a hurry unless I find a really good deal.

I had an 06 Megacab. If I wouldn't have made a stupid decision I'd still have it. I have the 08 2500 with the Cummins now, but I like the ammenities this truck has though. Factory engine brake, and I like this tranny pretty well for an auto

That new 2011 Ford Super Duty sounds tits! Impressive figures and good feedback from the drivers. No more Navistar engine - all Ford now. ~30MPG on 3.11 gears! I dont care much for the gawdy looks nor the initial sticker shock...curios to see how it does in a few years...
