He includes an axle, snails, and chain slider. I have the one with the brake quality stuff, I just wish that lefty would use Metric Hardware and not SAE :D I'll get you a pic later if Paul doesnt beat me to it

theres several designs of extensions depending who made them but the ones ive seen were pretty simple in design. the problem with using 2 swingarms to make one is they will be in a fixed position and youll have almost no adjustablility, if you know the exact amount of extension you need then it would be fine but youll be shit out of luck if you want to shorten or lengthen it for different terrain. a chunk of billet 6061 and drill press is really all you need to make some adjustable ones. if you have acess to more sophisticated equiptment it would probly be easier but not necesarry.

this was a local dudes yamaha chassis. these are more sophisticated than some ive seen but you get the idea. on the steely swingarm you can pull out the end pieces and slide the extension inside, however on the newer honda swingarms you cant slide the extensions inside.

it will be on a stellie.... i wil be dynoing the bike to see what it makes before i decide how long... but im guessing it will be in the 6-8 over range on a 14 viper

Mine is adjustable from 5.5-9.25" and I run it around 6.5", anymore than that and the loss of traction is a PITA.

You dont need to machine or weld anything to run a rear brake, the caliper rests on top of the swingarm and once the axle nut is tightened it aint going anywhere, all you need is a longer hose.

thanks brit!!

How did that tire hold up? i will be running the same one. Did you have any wheelie problems while launching hard in the first 300ft with that setup?

100hp... i think i remember brit posting somewhere that he got those off a hillclimbing forum? could be wrong though.

Got them from a guy on www.kingofthehill.org

It works perfect in the sand full throttle + juice second gear launches are possible with the front just barely coming up.
